Transparent pricing for authors
We are committed to transparency in our fee structure. All fees are clearly communicated before submission. Fee waivers and discounts are available for authors from low- and middle-income countries and for cases of financial hardship.

Fee Waiver Policy
We offer full or partial fee waivers for:
- Authors affiliated with institutions in low-income countries (per World Bank classification)
- Authors facing genuine financial hardship who cannot access institutional funding
- Invited articles and editorials (at the editor's discretion)
Waiver requests are reviewed confidentially by the editorial office and do not affect editorial decisions. To request a waiver, contact the journal editor before or during submission.
Refund Policy
- Submission fees are non-refundable once the manuscript enters initial screening.
- Article Processing Charges are refundable if the manuscript is rejected before production begins.
- Fast-track fees are refundable if the fast-track timeline is not met by the editorial team.
- Correction fees for publisher-introduced errors are waived entirely.
